Simple yet important question
Well i did my first grow a little while back some were following the grow. I still need to update though.
Anyways my question is basically about lighting. I will be growing lowryders #2.
I have purchased 12 F32T8 4' floros and didn't relize that I got 4100k color temp. Can these be used to grow lowryder #2? The store wont take emm back and I paid $3.50 each for emm. Plus I have 4 ballasts for emm as well each ballast hold 3 bulbs. Got these for free though from work and my boss is an advide grower himself. I know that they might not be sufficent enough for big buds or anything but can and will these grow lowryders at all?pudder Reviewed by pudder on . Light, grows weed. Period.
Your Kelvin rating is horrible. Heres a link to a graph I believe Opie posted a little bit back.

Those lights will work fine, your spectrum is smack in the middle. It contains the proper colors for veg and flowering. I mean, come on, people still grow with incandesents.

Light, grows weed.
But I think you read the graph wrong. In veg the graph shows around 5700k is peep absorption. In flower, the graph shows around 2700k is peek absorption for marijuana. 4100k is in the middle of the graph, yes, correct, but has the LEAST amount of absorption of light.

Simple yet important question
ok so I picked up 12 more bulbs today. all 3000k so now i have 12 3000k and 12 4100k bulbs so I will make 2 fixtures with prolly a mix of both bulbs.
Each bulb is a solid 32watts so that is 24x32=768watts for my lights.
I am growing lowryders so veg not needed as much as flowering spectrums anyways.
so far its been around $80 bucks for my bulbs alone.
oh yeah and for the people who followed my last grow.
I am building a much bigger grow box. 6'Hx3'Wx6'T its my so called wardrobe cause i have no closets. HEHE.......
