I did lose a friend from my marijuana use. It was back in high school when I started toking.
We were very close friends, then all of a sudden he started calling me a pot head and threating to kick my ass and pushing me. Needless to say it didn't end well for him the next day in the locker room. Now that im older I realize that that dude is a dick head.

Now I'm not condoning violence :hippy: but he deserved whats coming to him if hes gonna harass you about a conscious choice you make. :rastasmoke:

I havent lost any yet, but its because i have my normal non smoking friends and i have my smoking buddies, its difficult juggling the two groups , but ive started bringing them together slowly

I've lost friends because of drugs in general, not just pot alone.

But then again I've made a lot more friends , so it's cool.

I have....Well close to it, and it really sucks. They just don't understand that it's my decision and if I'm not forcing it on them, and I'm not high around them, and since there's been studies done that prove that is not as harmful to your lungs as cigarette's or as addictive, they shouldn't care.

Ive tried to prove that too a few of my lost friends before i lost them. And ive came to decide that if they cant except you for who you are. then then thats there problem, their not a true friend. But hey thats just me.

Anyone who won't associate with you because of cannabis was not a true friend in the first place.
Friends understand each other, and would know if you were abusing something. A true friend would be concerned about you if they thought you were making a wrong choice, and would talk to you about it with concern for your welfare. Dumping you doesn't show concern, it shows disdain.

A real friend sticks with you no matter what (within reason) and you have just lost someone who sounds pretty disloyal.
