not that i know of but i did lose my best friend to drunk driving him and a buddy were drunk and smoking weed on the way to do a beer run so if that counts at least i know he died ripped out of his mind

I'm really sorry to hear that dude. It's a very sobering warning about driving under influences... if you happen to be too messed up you can lose everything.

If something like that happened to one of my friends, I would consider that a valid reason for them to hate the drug and to hate me for doing it. But people who haven't had bad things like that happen to them, really don't have a right to get in your face about it. They're still within their right to state their opinions, but a misguided sense about what's morally right and wrong can make people overstep the boundaries of common courtesy and acceptance.

I've lost many because of this reason, but more friends usually pop up that do accept it as a result of their abandonment (for lack of a better word).

While I would still be friends with them if it weren't for their ignorant ways of weeding (no pun intended) out their friends, I feel if they can't handle things like me smoking on MY OWN time and NOT IN FRONT OF THEM, then they don't need to be my friend anyway.

If they can't deal with someone because they smoke weed, then they have a shitload of problems coming for them later on in life that they won't be able to handle (very well).

I've probably lost some potential friends cuz I can tell when people are gonna be full-on anti cannabis, and I subconsciously avoid them. The majority of my friends smoke buddha and that's the way I like it... It's a better way of life. :smokin:

Not a real one.
Anyone who won't associate with you because of cannabis was not a true friend in the first place.
Friends understand each other, and would know if you were abusing something. A true friend would be concerned about you if they thought you were making a wrong choice, and would talk to you about it with concern for your welfare. Dumping you doesn't show concern, it shows disdain.

I did lose a friend from my marijuana use. It was back in high school when I started toking.
We were very close friends, then all of a sudden he started calling me a pot head and threating to kick my ass and pushing me. Needless to say it didn't end well for him the next day in the locker room. Now that im older I realize that that dude is a dick head.
