If you do this you're showing no respect at all to your friends. That's just rude. Deal with the fact they're not smoking and just respect eachother.

I had to say that none of my friends I have now know I smoke, not my family I always am stoned, but no one really has a clue.:angelsmiley:
My career, family all of my personal life no one really knows that I enjoy the herb. I have learned to enjoy the weed by myself and now I am use to smoking alone, which in a way rocks. :stoned: Does it make me a phony, maybe, but at my age, I have learned that people have their minds made up, and if they want to smoke than they will find a way like I do to smoke. I have a one hitter, I smoke joints in my car, and eat it. If you act normal, no one has a clue, my eyes don't even turn red anymore. My dream is to one day just leave it all behind and live the reminder of my days in Amsterdam. :jointsmile:

I have....Well close to it, and it really sucks. They just don't understand that it's my decision and if I'm not forcing it on them, and I'm not high around them, and since there's been studies done that prove that is not as harmful to your lungs as cigarette's or as addictive, they shouldn't care.

Sounds pretty childish if he can't accept you just because you smoke pot. You sound like you haven't taken any wrong steps around this guy, and yet he's being a stubborn close minded fool about it and is prepared to push you to the side. Friend?

Not lost, really, a few have distanced themselves from me, but it's not a huge deal. My current friends actually came to me because they wanted to smoke, they did, one likes it and the other one, well, he got SUPER stoned the 3rd time he tried it, and now he's kind of leery. They know I smoke, and they're fine with it.

I've met quite a few friends through my love of the herb, though

I haven't really lost friends but it has affected me as far as living situation in the past year. I was gonna have a guy i work with move in with me after my lease was up with another guy i worked with. So we had the new lease all signed and ready to go when it was time. So my current roomate and his girlfriend are all set to move into their own place when the lease is up. He's cool with pot and she's not and she went around complaining to the neighbors and the apartment manager that the house smelled like pot all the time and she didn't want anything to do with it. Thats cool but i never did anything in the house...only in my room....and its MY business. Well eventually word gets to the guy i was gonna room with and now he says he won't room with me cause he doesn't wanna be around pot. This fucking bitch has ruined me in the place i was staying and I had to find a new place to live...when i could have stayed put.

Firstly it's a girl, all of my guy friends are ok with it, they don't like it, but they know they cant make me stop. It's my ex gf that isn't ok with it, she gets really depressed and mad at me because I smoke. (Shes left voicemail's on my phone screaming and crying, i don't know what about because I deleted them first thing ) She's still my friend and everything, shes laid off on trying to get me to quit though which is good. That's the closest to losing a friend I've had. Well that's not entirely true, but we weren't good friend's in the first place.

not that i know of but i did lose my best friend to drunk driving him and a buddy were drunk and smoking weed on the way to do a beer run so if that counts at least i know he died ripped out of his mind
