I used a vinyl siding underlayment for reflection, called R-tech(this is the brand name, so it may be called something else elsewhere) basically mylar on a thin foam board.
probably not 98% reflective like mylar, but at 12 bucks for 96 sq. feet, its hard to beat. You could find it at almost any hardware or building supplies store I imagine.
It also acts as a sail in some ways. It catches the breeze from the fan, which moves the light a little bit, better distributing the light
