Wrong answer sport... the smoke detectors in hotels/motels are hard wired... no batteries, and are tied into the central alarm system. Most hotels fire alarm systems are tied directly to the fire department.

If you want to fuck up a perfectly good night by spending it in jail, knock yourself out.

The hotel will probably be under my name if we decide to do it. Is there a possibility of any legal trouble if the room smells like weed when we check out?
