Small bud leaves are dying

I am about 2 to 3 weeks away from harvest. I know that toward the end it is common for fan leaves to die. But its not the fan leaves dying. I noticed last week that all the leaves around the bud area are dying. All 7 of my girls are experiencing this. They are crispy and turning brown. The other leaves below are fine. Is this normal?

Heat? Mites? Bloom booster overdose?

I ruled out pests. There are no pests. I ran some ro water through one on of them and the ppm is at 1400. The ph is at 6.8 (they are grown in soil). I have all the handbooks and such and I am still unclear what it could be. Its only effecting the leaves around the bud site. The only thing that that looks somewhat like this is boron def. I was under the impression that boron def is rare. I'm going to flush tonight and treat with eyewash(boron) and see if it helps.

I'd flush and not treat with eyewash. There's an issue with it that I forget what it is but I think there was a CSI episode about it so it CAN'T be good, hahaha!
High ppm, symptoms of Mg deficiency (striping on that leaf) means lockout to me.. The flushing should do ya, and if you want to foliar feed, 1/4 tsp per gallon epsom salts will do ya much better, but try not to get it on the buds!!!! = burning throat sensation when smoked.

Honestly, this late in flower, I'd just flush, feed with a weak compete fert, and call it good. You're almost done anyway.
