And...

Maximum conservation on one's fine erb, ice wastes THC

Have you all heard of ice extraction to make hash? One can even make hash without ice, simply cold water extraction.

So when the objective is to breathe in smoke with lots of THC in it, having cold water or ice in the bong is counterproductive.

However, HOT water does not cause the vapors to condense, and one receives more bang for his or her buck!

Wrong, after herb is burnt it is not like extracting hash in a gumby/Ice-olator method, putting hot water is a big no-no especialy if your putting ice in an ice catcher and hott water into a glass peiece. The temerature differance along with the romm tem can make your nice bong break. I saw this happen last night with a friends nice roor, he paid about $600 for it had 2 percs a difuser and and ice catcher, I told him not to do it cause the thought of it was stuipid in the first place. But it was his peoice and he did it we went out side where it was about 20 deg F. and the bottm half cracked. I make glass on glass bongs so it is an easy fix, but right now I am not blowing so he will have too wait. I told him not too, only when you have a sore throght or a cold do you fill the bong with warm water and no ice
MadSativa Reviewed by MadSativa on . Do you think ice in a bong really cools the smoke? I just bought myself my first piece here in NZ. It has a large twist/ ice catch. I was wondering is it more just for show or do do you think the ice really manages to cool the smoke in those few seconds your hot smoke rushes by it? Rating: 5
