Best Conversation You've Had While High

We all like to play video games and munch, but does anyone like to smoke out with some good buddies and ponder the world? I know I have had some crazy ass conversations with some friends and here are my top five subjects.

1. Astrophysics. Holy shit man. My major is in physics and engineering completely because of my good friend Mary Jane. My friend and I always toke out with a bunch of people and at the end we drop everyone else off and it ends up being us two. We just end up talking for hours about theories and current physics discoveries. It is just a really good feeling chatting with a buddy who doesn't usually show this curious side to the world.

2. Who would win in a fight Rosie O' Donnel or Janet Reno? What about the epic fight of Buddha vs. Gandhi? Would we ever see a victor?! Do I need to explain any further?

3. The Future. I always love ending up talking about what we are going to do with our lives to make us more than an insignificant speck in the stream of time. May never happen, but it is nice to talk about.

4. Life and Death. This board seems to know all about this discussion lol.

5. Religion. It ties into Life and Death sometimes, but it is worthy of it's very own category. I know some people have problems talking about it without getting pissy, but with my friends I have never had an issue. The conversation gets so deep sometimes its tough to wonder if we are really alone in our short nearly meaningless lives, stumbling through on our own merit or is there a greater entity gently guiding us down the path we are destined to go. I may never know.

I know some people like get so baked there is nothing left, while others like to party or play video games, but I prefer nothing better than a meaningful conversation with a good friend or intelligent stranger.

Are my friends and I the only ones?

Damn, I'm jealous, no one I smoke with would really understand half the things i'm saying if I talk about anything smart. And if I try, they either just start talking before i'm finished or it just gets really awkward because they don't understand what i'm saying. (Sigh) I guess i'm not very good at explaining things either.

i remember talking about how i linked a window as a portal to our minds that see the world.. and they my friend just laughed at me. -.-

i LOVE talking about astronomy. Basically none of my friends smoke, and dont want to hear about anything marijuana related....so its rare for me to find someone to smoke with AND have a decent conversation....I could talk all night about space, theory, philosophy.....

Yea me and a few of my good friends always talk about history, religion, conspiracies, and many other scientific theories.

The general nature of social interactions, beliefs, core philosophies that are not necessarily related to religion, relationships of the past, present, and prospective future, and impressive natural phenomena. One good television program and the issues it brings up are enough to spark a long conversation, but I find most of my friends get too baked to have the 'Philosopher's Stone" and talk about such explorative ideas and concepts. The best high conversation I ever had was several years ago when a friend and I smoked weed as well as used an unmentionable substance and just sat in the near dark on a couch for hours talking about every topic from my first sentence above. I still like to recall it (we recorded the entire thing and listened the next day), even though it will never have the magic it did while it was occuring. In retrospect the unmentionable substance was almost completely irrelevant to the way we felt and the way our thoughts both connected and allowed us to ask truly meaningful questions, followed by sharing our answers, which both were really only part of the range of possible answers but binded together to create an understanding deeper than either of us could have reached just thinking alone. That magic was all weed. It made me particularly comfortable to learn, after that night, that I was capable of such truly captivating conversations with that friend even without the use of any intoxicants. I doubt I would have discovered it had we not done what we did, though.

I never talked to any other stoners about deep stuff like the listed stuff above, but ive thought about stuff alot on my own. When I get blazed now thats all I do, I dont think about religion or politics and shit but w/e I happen to think about ideas, structures of things, relations, concepts, and stuff I analyize and structure stuff. I dont know its weird, I REALLY go off in my own zone. Its great, cept for the antisocial behavior.
