Can one wild night of light pollution ruin my ladies reputation?
I looked around, but couldnt find any other posts on the subject. Anyway, last night, I sprayed for mites with pyrethium. I had to get out of the room in kind of a hurry on account of the harmful vapors. Well, I forgot to close the door to my flowering cabinet. I let in more than a few candle power through over half of the dark period. I know, I know, Im an idiot. I really hope it didn't ruin my mammas' buds from maturing properly, as they're less than two weeks out and still putting on wieght. has this ever happened to anybody else? and also, Im flowering trainwreck under a 600w HPS and its been about 34 days since 12/12. The buds are filling out quite nicely but no trichomes yet. At least none to speak of. This is my first cycle, so im not sure if this is normal. temps are 75-80 during the day and about 60 at night. RH has been dry, between 10 and 40 percent. I water every 3 or 4 days with botanicare organic, and have commenced to flushing with cane sugar water. Thanks!:wtf:

Sounds like you've been doing a good job other than the light mishap....
That sucks man. Hopefully nothing will happen, but there's just no way of telling for sure. You might get a 'nanner or two, or you might get lucky. I would imagine that is kind of a good thing that you are so far into flowering, the plants are pretty dedicated to buildin' buds now. Good luck though.

You should have used neem oil for that mite problem.Pyrethium? OMG! Poison....... I use the neem oil and as soon as you put the ladies under an HPS light,If you did'nt notice you had mites in veg.. You will when you send them to the HPS light. Them suckers love that HPS.Go organic whenever possible. IMO.Hope you will get rid of them! Throw in a few No Pest Strips, too.Veg and flowering rooms.Preventive is better than a war with them!
Ga Grown!

wouldn't worry dude, i've had a timer go on me and its given 24 hrs of light for several days while the plant is in flower, reverted back to flower cycle no problem, just needed a bit more time in flower than normal before it was ready to crop. My mate has accidently done this sort of thing on numerous occasions, worse one resulted in veg shoots coming out of the buds, he reverted to 6hrs light and still had a good crop, just took a little longer. The time your cycle was disturbed i wouldn't think would have much if any noticable effect. i'd agree with everyone else on the mite issue, use neem. natural makes for a smoother smoke!! i've been lucky not to suffer mites for years, but i have loads of strips just in case, and disinfect my grow room between grows. kills any mould spores at the same time, happy new year dude.
