Amsterdam trip in Jan 2008 - need info + travel friends

Hi all,

Im 29, male, studying Math in Italy. I recently went to Amsterdam for a weekend holiday (my first time). It was one of the most awesome holidays I had :-)
so awesome that I plan to go there every month (a weekend would cost me as low as 200 Euros).

Its a shame that I could not try all the hash as mentioned in some other threads. This time, however, I plan to be more educated in the different strains and get the best high possible.

I want the following info:

1) Which is the best places to buy weed and hash?
2) Which hash has more than 50% THC?
3) Are there any fellow travelers/locals in A'dam during Mid Jan who would like to join me for a smoke and educate me on the different varieties of pot?
4) which coffeeshops are the best to hang out? I prefer dark places with good music (I liked Rokerij)
5) Apart from A'dam, are there any other "weed friendly" cities for tourists in Europe? (Jamaica is too far for me)

To many variables here. You could check out my Menus page for some of the recent ones and decide for yourself.

Generally ice and jelly hashes.


3) Are there any fellow travelers/locals in A'dam during Mid Jan who would like to join me for a smoke and educate me on the different varieties of pot?

Here again, just too many variables. Try them all and then return to the ones you like.

Fast and easy to get to is Haarlem, 15 minutes by train 3.60 Euro. The WW chain of shops offers excellent goods with very good prices. Coffeeshop Birdie had some excellent jelly hash. In total there are 16 coffeeshops in Haarlem, a respectable days crawl if you hit them all.

Actually almost any city in Holland will have at least a couple coffeeshops.
