Obtaining a Medical Cannabis Card
Anonymous works! Get a friend (or use block letters) to address a package with a printout of, at least part of, my "Birthday" post- the link is below. The US mail doesn't look at return addresses, so make one up and send the good doctor some educational material! Rather than send her to C.com, use this URL instead- it from a nice little Canadian MMJ site. Might go over better, since she's a doctor!

The med schools don't teach about cannabis, so it is up to US to educate our doctors. All most of them know is the government line about cannabis!
How about we all make a New Year's Resolution to educate our doctors? Anonymously, if need be, face to face if possible!

ps-Yes, my GP doctor knows- and he used to use in his med school days! But he's way scared of the Feds. I give him the occasional study. Keeps his brain working!

I had surgery on my elbow and had 3 screws placed in, I can't straigten it out fully, and some days it gets really stiff and hurts like hell. Would this be a good enough reason to get a card?

Magick, does it interfere with normal activities as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act? Is it chronic pain? Do you have a "neat" scar to show the doctor? If so, then yes, especially if you have your medical records.- Granny:hippy:

You really have to dig up and read what your state's law says regarding medical marijuana. For instance, in Canada only certain conditions listed in their law are allowed, but in Calfornia the law is written more broadly so it is easier to be recommended in some places. This pretty much allows everyone that can benefit from marijuana the ability to obtain it legally, unfortunately, this has also contributed to its abuse, no different than how easy it is to abuse pharmaceuticals I should add.

Even though they are protected by the law, many are still worried to recommend marijuana than they should be. There are medical marijuana specialists as well, which is where I found help for my battle against Crohn's Disease.

Think that you are from thailand... (the flag shown)
The problem is that Death penalty is possible for drug offenses under Thai law. Extrajudicial killings also alleged. (but frequently used)
Now its yours what will you do?
