My cousin is immune
Everybody has cannabinoid receptors. We have them all over and our bodies produce our own natural endocannabinoids that they respond to.
The more I read about G proteins and CB1 and CB2 receptors, the more I believe that while they're naturally designed to respond to our endocannabinoids, not all receptors respond to exo-cannabinoids (cannabinoids from external sources like smoked or eaten or vaped weed) in the same way. I was slow to respond when I first smoked, and I've seen that same experience related here plenty of times. I'm sure that just as there are people who easily get completely baked on two hits, there are also people who wouldn't get high if they smoked the weed equivalent of a full pack of unfiltered cigarettes. I think those who're that resistant are the exception rather than the rule, but I do think they exist.
My condolences to your cousin, MasterKief. I hope he'll keep trying a few more times. It took me about 7 exposures before I felt it. A less tenacious girl would have given up, but I was determined. Maybe with a few more tries, he'll feel it, too. If you've been smoking with him until now, maybe you can finagle a way he can try eating it instead and see if he can get some results that way.birdgirl73 Reviewed by birdgirl73 on . My cousin is immune OK so the other night my cousin and I loaded up my bong about 5 times and smoked every bit of my stash. I was higher than a kite in about 5 minutes but he never once felt anything. He has smoke a pipe a couple times, and never really felt anything either. Also, this was his first time using a bong. Is there any way that he'll ever be able to experience the high that I am feeling? It was kind of awkward being high all night and giggling at every little thing when he was just sitting there Rating: 5\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"
