That is a pretty good Idea, as long as you could move the light from one side of the box to the other and seal out the light. maybe just dole out the 250 bux for another 600w, depending on whats cheaper or more worth your time though.

It's the procedure that gets more bud.You could have a 250 watter and do as opie said,you will gain either way you go.Your growing twice what the light can grow.You got 2 crops under 1 light. It'll work! You have to bust your ass,though.

if you had some DIY spirit, you could probably automate it with some complex winch and curtain setup.......

but even so, for a 600w, you may be shooting a LITTLE high

I'm sorry but 8 oz under 600w is not very commendable. That's a super average yield for that amount of light.

Many people do that amount, especially the people who sog. Sometimes less without giving it a thought. It depends a lot on how long you veg, and how much you stretch your light. I'm pretty sure I could do 2 lb under 600W. It would be a longer than normal veg period and a stadium screen grow, with the plants near the outside not getting enough light.

Anyone up for the 2 lb. challenge?

It's gonna take some months. But,I think I can get the 2 pound mark with 2 of these 600's.Can I cheat and use a cO2 generator?hehe.No mover will be used.I can only put 1 light on the one I have.It's a hydrofarm.I think I'll be fine with the heat. Got a 465 on them and a 265, venting the room.Jan.1st,I'm gonna take 25 cuttings. Veg them for 4 or 5 weeks. Then they are off to flowering. I'll even keep a log of this,from the time I take the cuttings until,finished.

I currently have 36 cloans rooted and in soil for my 3rd grow. They are currently in my grow log "2nd grow from cloans and THCB seeds"

I am currently thinking 8 rubbermaid toats with 5 to 6 plants per container in a 4'x4' space.

I thought I was getting a low yield with 10 oz from one plant under 600W. However I can't get it across the grow on the size of NFT tank I have. With four in it I have had a 1 x 10 oz plant, 1 x 4 oz plant & 2 x 1 oz plants. Which made my last grow a total of 16oz. First time round I only had the three plants & the largest was 7 oz, but the ratios were much the same to make a total of 11 oz from the 3 plants. I think more comes into it such as the strain, space available & the amount of vegging time.

yeah its possible, just saw a video ................ 15lbs in 80 days and they had some aquamist systems that grew over 5lbs in a 4x6 area in 1 harvest,
