Private testing facility - will they watch?

I am doing an industrial drug panel (10 panel test) ua in the next few days, and I am going to use the substitution method. I already have my replacement product, but my big question is:

Do they watch?

I am paying for this test myself and will ultimately release the results to the people that really care about the results once all is said and done.

Being a medical user for chronic pain, I can't imagine taking off one or two months to pass this test, plus the meds I'd have to use instead would show up on this panel, so it's like 6 of one and a half-dozen of another.

Did you read the substitution sticky or use the search feature? This question is asked all the time and the answer is always the same. Unless you give them reason, they can't observe your test. Reason would include a buldge, failure to produce a sample at the right temp, refusal to remove outerwear. No, they can't frisk you either but they can make you pat yourself down.

Right and wrong. Being a medical marijuana user doesn't allow you to fail your drug test for marijuana but if you take prescription pain meds and you test positive for them, a medical review officer (MRO) will verify the scripts and make sure the levels are not too high based on your scripts. Absence of a prescription in a urine sample is not cause to fail you either.

Right, I did search, but I am freaked the hell out and wanted a little reassurance, thank you...

I choose to not use the opiates all the time every day in favor of mmj and I know it's not an affirmative defense of anything, which is why I don't bring it up at all with anyone.

It sucks that I can't just say "this is what I use for pain control and it will show up on the screen" but I can't. I don't have the balls to do that, unfortunately, and I'm sure the organization that wants the results doesn't care.

Just do the sub method. They never watch unles you give them a reason to or are under court supervision.
Just make sure you practice and get the temp right.

Just got back from the private testing facility, they basically asked me if it was court ordered and I said no, and they said, shut the door behind you, don't run the sink or flush...

Opened Quick Fix, dumped in, walked out, smile on face.

On the quick fix, I had the little heat pack banded to the bottle for an hour and it didn't get to temperature. I got a cup of coffee from the gas station near the facility and heated it up that way. It was around 100 when I went in and was down near 94 by the time I finally got to pour it. They only wanted about 1/3 the bottle too, which was nice.

Good job. Thats why its important to practice with the QF to make sure you get the temp right.
