No, I mean unless I'm High, to be completely honest. I have smoked and stopped and started again (took a break) during the break I felt exactly the same, and not to mention my grades in college didn't differ at all
The is only one way to waste weed, that is not to use it.

I defiantly feel less ambitious than I used to. I've been smoking for about 3 years or so, just about every day for the last 2. I am also incredibly forgetful, but I don't know if it is fair to blame that on the weed or not. I just can't remember if I have always been forgetful, haha.

I haven't noticed any BIG changes but I think I've begun to forget the smaller things that I would have remembered sometime ago. It's not the pot completely, I'm sure. I feel like I just don't retain quite as much information as I did before. I don't know how much of it I can blame on natural biological factors(such as natural memory loss, etc - not that I'm old, I'm only 24 haha) and how much I can attribute to heavy pot use.
I started noticing this semester at school that when I would use pot during the schoolweek to get stoned then I felt more forgetful or less likely to retain what I was being taught or reading(over the next day or two). However, if I just used pot to de-stress at the end of the night, just one or two hits I was much better.
It was just a matter of finding out how to balance it with my schoolwork/job and use it appropriately at those times. As far as zapping my motivation there have been times when I would let it get me and I wouldn't want to do a damn thing and I wouldn't. I quickly corrected myself, though. I take school seriously so I had to correct that quick especially since I've decided to press on for my doctorate degree ... and I intend to smoke the entire way through (assuming I feel like it, things may change and I'll quit smoking). I just have to be respectful of what it can do.
Physically the only change I can really tell is the effect smoking has had on my lungs. They feel a little more constricted. It isn't horrible and isn't really causing any problems. I do plan to fix this in the new year and invest in a nice vaporizer so that I may hopefully save my lungs. Other than the effect on my lungs I think I'm just paranoid that I've been putting on weight due to munchies. I let that get out of control when I was in school so I'm assuming it was a combination of the pot and stress that was making me want to eat more.
I say that stress from school(and work) played a big, big role in my overeating while I was high because now that school is out I don't really have the munchies and I'm smoking the same pot I was just a couple of weeks ago. They seem to nearly have disappeared. I do still want a little something now and then but I don't overdo it like I was. As far as the weight gain I think it is all paranoia because, well the scale didn't change haha and my metabolism is pretty quick.
Sorry didn't mean to type a novel - I haven't even been smoking yet. About to do that right now.

If you stop smoking for a month or two, i bet most people would notice some kind of mental and/or physical difference.

I smoke anywhere from 1-5 hits of mids from my one-hitter every day; I can definitely notice a big change in my attitude since I began smoking, I'm a lot more positive, easy-going, and my baseline pain level has gone from a 7 to around a 4 or 5 (I have chronic pain issues). I may be just a tad bit less motivated, but I am accomplishing more now that my pain level allows me to function better.
My memory has always sucked, but now I ALWAYS carry around a mini marble notebook to immediately write down something I need to remember/do/think about, ect. They are AWESOMELY useful.

lol im glad to see lots of feedback
but for me ive been noticeing when i run my lungs are horrible, they feel like something is pressing them down.
mentaly tho ive been much more happier i guess loll, i focus better in class jsut the thing is i have problems remebering lol, not that big of a problem as in where i forget the whole entire lecture but where i have to think about it for some time usually 10+ seconds that dosnt seem like alot but when someone asks about what the homework was in class it tends to be a problem.
uhh im not sure if anyone else has read into this? but my sister jsut told me bout this memory theory. it says that instead of ur memory being a giant cabnet of folders(memories) your brain only saves part of the event and then recreates the rest of it. the first time your brain recreates the event EX. christmas you remeber everyone that was tehre, after every time u remeber the same christmas, little things end up being diffrent and soon enough after many times you'll think that your uncle wasnt there or something. but then theres other events where ur memory will soak in everything as in 9/11 or some catastrophic event.
lol im not sure about that tho jsut a theory i heardall day
