leaf cuttings

i have heard that you can grow a plant from just about any part of the plant and i have heard about leaf cutting so i went in my back yard and got some leaves off a bush and cut the vane on the back side of the leaf and pinded them to some sand just as i was told by this book i found from my highschool AG class and the leaves started to grow roots i kept them in a cool place where no sun gets and little light with plenty of water and i was wondering if any one has heard of this method and does it work for weed. if so can you give me the specs and info on any method like this.

hi chris,leaf cutting's will not work with weed,wrong type of plant for that type of cloneing..spliffbuilder.
