looks pretty thick. to clean take a zip lock bag. put the bowl and fill with enough rubbing alcohol to completely submerge the bowl. let sit overnight and shake a couple of times. will be clean. for quicker cleaning fill the pipe witrh salt and rubbing alcohol and shake for 3 mins. will be very clean and make sure to rinse with water after cleanings. some claim to be able to taste the alcohol but there full of shit. if you wash it out with water its fine
