The ancient pagan Winter Solstice, which was celebrated by mankind long before the mythical birth of the christ, is a much better holiday tradition.

A lot of the xmas music that is played is garbage, which is unfortunate since there is some good holiday music out there.

If I had to choose, I'd prefer a commerical xmas to a "spiritual" one. I enjoy the holiday decorations in NYC store windows, Rockefeller Center tree, etc. At least there are no mangers or baby jesus involved.
