    A bit confused

    I've read the stickies and reviewed a bunch of the other posts and am a bit cinfused. I'm 6'1, 230lbs. Smoked a couple of pinch hitters (hell, I dunno what yu call it these days... a dugout or bat or something) daily for abuot 3 weeks. Stopped last week for a test two or three weeks from today. I've always taken multi vitamins, have begun to do light workouts and walking/running every day again to get my metabolism up. So here is my consfusion:

    do I want to limit my fat intake so I burn fat cells that contain the THC or do I want to eat fat so the THC is "spread out" among te fat in my system?

    I also plan to dilute (following the sticky) for the test. Being a 50 year old former military officer and pilot (and not smoking during those 25 years) and having to do UAs at least once a year, I have never gotten a second glance whe I piss neon green or clear so do not antiipate any problem there.

    So high fat w/o exercise or low fat with sweatin' to the oldies?

    Based on my reading (I'm new to this stuff myself), It all depends on the time you have available prior to your UA. IF you have 3 weeks or more then you should go low fat sweatin' to the oldies until about a week or so before your UA and then switch to High fat w/o exercise.

    The low fat, exercise portion increases your metabolism and flushes your fat tissue of THC metabolites...which eventually leave your body via urine. But...you don't want to do that too long because you could end up having more THC metabolites in your urine at the time of the test than if you weren't exercising at all.

    You essentially want to strip a much as you can and then add new fat to cover up what's left. I'm sure someone will be able to explain it better than I am.

    That makes sense. There is so much info out there that I got a bit crossed-up with when to do what exercise wise. The dilution sequence is quite clear and appears easy to follow.

    Until recedntly I hadn't smoked in 25 years. Now I hear about schwag, mid, haze, afgan, high grade and all kinds of other stuff I don't know about.
    I do know that what I smoked, as described above, was "marketed" as mid to high grade... a single hitter would get me high, two in a row would definitiely render me useless for a couple hours... so that is why I usually only smoked two or three times during the day. I really liked it. I know one can not determine exact THC content without a test but does the 30 day rule of thumb apply to this "mid" quality smoke?

    Pick yourself up some cheap test strips to test yourself.
    30 days works for some people and doesn't for others. We had one guy on here who went for 2 months and still wasn't clean.
    Exercise with a high fiber diet to keep the shit moving.Metamucil can help. Stop exercising 2 or 3 days before the test to slow down the releasing of the thc. Subbing is always an option if you can't get clean in 30 days.

    I'm already there with the high fiber and exercise, will pick-up the test strips soon. Plan on laying off a couple days early with adding creatin to the diet and a reduced diluted schedule for the day of the test.

    I picked up a home test today and tested clean. Wasn't my first piss of the day but pretty close... I replicated my daily habit of a wake-up tinkle and then did the UA test after my regular two cup of coffee later. I've been heavy into the fiber, have always taken a multi vitamin, have been staying hydrated along with moderate exercise. I feel good about the results, especially with at least 10 more days to go... anything that may not be kosher with this home test?

    Good luck with your testings, it seems like you will be fine!
    I don't know much about UA, but it maybe a good idea to do quite a few home test kits, just incase.
