marijuana seed ?

i just found a marijuana seed in my bud that i bought , and was thinking of growing but ive grown before and the seeds did NOT look anything like this , its a little bit smaller than a normal seed and it hasnt got the engravings all over the shell and it white instead of brown ? please tell me your opinions on weather its just a immature seed and tell me what to do to make it mature ready for germination thanks

Yeah, if it's pale/white or a funny shape it's not ripe, and there's nothing you can do to ripen it. Seeds intended for germination must be allowed to ripen on the live plant at LEAST a month; 5 weeks is better. Once the plant is harvested, there is only a very small amount that the seed will continue to ripen during the drying process.

If you plant it, it is likely nothing will happen, the seed is premature. But like with human preemies, some make it. And if you don't try, for sure nothing will happen! So try to sprout it- say a prayer and hope for the best. But Stinky is right, most "preemies" won't grow- but I'm an optimist and would try it! - Granny:hippy:

try to germinate and if it doesn't sprout then you can also try to lightly rub some fine sandpaper on the outer shell to soften in and it may sprout...kind of a crapshoot but just giving you options in case you want to conduct an experiment. imp:
