the risk of antidepressants
I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety, and have been taking paxil. I experience alot of negative symptoms with it, however. For example, somedays i feel good and other days like shit, and if i forget to take my medicine one night, i end up feeling lathargic and down the rest of the day. Not to mention, if there is ever a period of time I have to do without my medication, i end up going through horrid withdrawal symptoms, including nausea, headaches, insomnia, and other very unpleasant feelings. I feel that I have become overly dependent on this drug, and that these pills seem to be doing a certain harm to my body. I am now serious considering becoming a medical marijuana patient, as I have smoked lots of times and I feel that its symptoms produce minimal withdrawal symptoms and dependence, and work quite effectively. Does anyone feel the same way I do, and what is your take on antidepressant pills, is it worth switching to marijuana? :rasta:
