150w hps floralux users need info

Im about to purchase my 150w floralux and need some information if this light is effecient and if i would get a good yield out of 2 plants?Also for any cabinet growers if i was venting the heat threw the top would those little vents on the side of the reflector would be a good enough to vent out the humidity in the cabinet?

I thought about getting the 250 watt floralux system. Try google to find reviews on it. I think I came across two awhile back. Where are you purchasing yours? HTGsupply has the 250 wat system that comes with an HPS and MH.

HTG supply is were im gonna get it but the 250 is alittlte bit more than i wanna spend becuse im saving to get a cabinet too and fans.And i want the plants to be real close to the light and the only way to do that is to have the tempered glass reflector cooled ,and these air coolded reflectors and about 50 to 80$ more.Actually i did a search awhile ago and the 250 is 200$ plus tax and that will empty my pocket pretty deep.Its not enough that im in debt over 700$ but im also am working only a part time job.

150w HPS bulbs usually give off about 15,000 lumens. That's good enough for 3 sq. ft.--which will easily take care of two decent sized plants. One of the things about the 150w HPS systems is that almost all of them have built-in ballasts...and the ballasts generate some pretty serious heat. If you have a 250w with a separate ballast, you won't get much if any more heat from just the bulb than you will from the bulb/ballast of a 150w.

I got my 250w system at discount-hydro.com...switchable remote ballast for about $179 with bulb.
