a judges daughter kills boyfriend drinking and driving and not even of age to drink. so for her punishment she gets to finish college and complete her scolarship, and really not have any troubles. since her dad was a judge the 18 wheeler driver was lying and he did an illegal lane change and the jury believed the drunk girl.

I did say it strongly-my points are, 1) "checks and balances are all but gone", 2) how sadly a statement the article made, and the judges actions proved that the 'Justice System' to be that it seems more and more that it's not the truth that counts, nor what you know that counts...only whom you know that counts. Where's the justice here? I bet the judge would had a shit fit if the tables were reversed, and his precious was killed by her drunk boyfriend, and HIS daddy presided over the case and had behaved the same..... Also, I wonder if the boyfriends family have considered a lawsuit, it worked in the O.J case, which demostrated that justice is not balanced, or blind, and there goes protection from double jeopardy, which states: in many countries (such as the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan and India, a constitutional right) which forbids that a defendant be tried twice for the same crime. Our justice system BS? Yeah Justice lost it's blindfold many a year ago!!!
This is something that used to be cool if you were speeding and got pulled over only for the Officeer to find out your Pops was on the Force....Now it's like this story here, completely out of hand. But bitching won;t really help, voting his ass out will.

Worse yet there should have been a conflict of interest here change of venue I think...the judge was too close to the case and should have disquakified himself, if he was a Just Judge, I think this is a Preciding Sludge not Judge.

Where the hell is America going, besides down the tubes, I'm tired of people waiting for someone to turn things around, it takes you and me just klike in the begining of the Country, drastic times, drastic measures... But what will it take and can we do it without a complete breakdown of society and we become a Third world country that the illegal U.N. comes here next. Peace seems so far away and so does common sense, no wonder so many are on drugs and no I am not including smoke in that class unless you are a smoking slouch.

harder for sure, she should be put in jail for manslaughter. she was allowed to finish her scolarship and go to school

if it were me i would have been thrown in jail for way more than 4 months. lost my scolarships, kicked out of school. my life would be over. because daddy was a judge they were able to use his power and save her life, oh but her boyfriend died and she was drunk driving and under age and they believed her over the 18 wheeler driver
