Dread, you are looking at it as dry rice! Cooked, a pound of rice, plus whatever can be scrounged can be a whole family's food! Cook up a pound of real rice and see how much it is!

There are over 20,000 ACTIVE members here at C.com. If every one of them did just 420 grains a day, C.com would be donating about 290 pounds of rice every day! (20,000 x 420 =8,400,000 grains divide by 29,000 = 289.6 pounds) THAT would feed a village for a day or two! We could do it!

When you are bored, depressed, or just have a few minutes to spare, play the game! It is a very simple vocabulary game. Every time you guess right, 20 grains of rice are donated to the UN.
