    Need Direction

Wats up club. so i have been lookin around alot on this forum its my first grow and i know not enough!. But im in my first week of flowering and i need some direction! just wondering if anyone can direct me to some kind of guide to flowering or just help me out? Heres what im doin... So as of rite now i have a mother that i wanted to flower. I think i made some mistakes already cause i flushed litteraly rite before i put it into flower mode...Dont know if that was the rite thing to do or not. Then..i placed my 400HPS about 4" away from the plant which ended up turnin the leaves, well actually almost the whole plant yellow! i moved the HPS so its about 16" away from the plants Im watering with Fox Farm Big Bloom and some bud blood which was good for the first week. My temps are arbound 75-78 lights on and lights off are about 60. But my problem was i wasnt able to use it since i flushed it didnt want to water more then i needed to. Ill post up some pics of the cab before i put in the HPS. My ventilation is medioaker...i have a large fan pushing air out and 2 small comp fans pushing air in...i know i need more but i dont have space or at least cant be too noticable since i live in an apartment. so im trying to work around it.

can anyone please direct me to save my plant!? thx for the help everyone

ok, so you flushed the soil. How's the drainage? If it's not drying out quick enough you may have to improve that. More drain holes, warmer temps, aerate the soil or worse case, repot with a lighter soil mix. What is your soil mix? These plants will do fine without much suppliments for a while if the soil is any good at all. Best of luck, Soobie!

Built in drip tray under that pot? That's going to make your flushing job WAY harder and prevent proper drainage. REmove it if possible. More holes in pot=better oxygen to the roots.

are you sure the flushing didnt turn your plant yellow? you should still have nitrogen but in small amounts when flowering. if your ventilation is good you can keep the 400 closer. mine is at 6-7 inches and i watch for growth and raise it as needed. good ventilation is key here. ok, read the mediocre part again. you should still be able to keep it 9-12" at least, unless you moved it from cfls then take some time to get it used to the brighter lights.
