When should I change from MH to HPS?

Hi Guys,

Just a quickie. I'm now in my 12th day from changing to 12/12 and was wondering when to change over to my 400w HPS? I have a small amount of lady hairs on all my Great White sharks and I'm still feeding them Biobizz grow, should I start with the Biobizz Bloom now and swap the lamp or give them a bit more time?

is power a problem? why not just add the hps and use both for flowering?

Most growers switch, when the stretch appears to be over. Some wait 2-4 weeks, into 12/12 cycle. Some switch immediately.
Same thing with bloom nutes, some wait about 2 weeks.

I'm going all the way with a ceramic metal halide.

I'd switch at the end of week 2 of flower.
Most people switch immediately, but a MH for 2 weeks really will help reduce stretch noticeably.

So, the second week it is:thumbsup: The plan is to keep the Biobizz grow going along side the Biobizz bloom (2rd week start) until about the 4th week before harvest and then cut out the grow and leave the bloom going for a further week before cutting nutes out all together, then a flush in the final week. How does that sound?

Cut out the grow during the second week of flower. That's when you need to really start witholding Nitrogen.

I dont post often, sry. Good responce from all. I personally have two rooms so my change is immediate. No problems.
