Animals are more aware of the world than we give them credit for. They have a great sense of short-term memory. Imagine how they perceive the slow, long-term thought of humans.

I swear I looked at my dog today and we made eye contact. I didn't want her in my room because I was stoned. I swear when I told her to get out she just looed at me and with her dog brain sent a message to my brain and said, "I just wanted to tell you I love you." Fucking wow man.
