Happy Holidays.....because life is short
I just wanted to get this off of my chest/ pack a holiday message even though I dont know and rarely speak with most of you.....
A good friend of mine died last night at the age of 61. She was my mother's best friend and a real hip lady. She chiefed with us all the time, was a huge David Bowie fan and lived in Detroit most of her life. She was diagnosed with cancer only about 9 months ago. Believe it or not, it started as Melanoma and spread into bone and lung cancer......anyways....you know how the weeks can fly by, and to me this year was gone in the blink of an eye.....if you were told you only had 9 months to live, it apparently will sneak up on you faster than you think. I just want everyone out there to remember life is short, and to appreciate the people you have with you still. We will all be there sooner than we think.....I am listening to David Bowie's Panic in Detroit........RIP Carol
Also in a semi related story, two guys that play pool in my 8 ball league just died from bad heroin......these seemed like guys that would never do that. I have heard all year of people taking bad smack and dying in the news....one of the guys was a PC repairman and my friends computer is trapped in his apartment. These two roomates watched each other die in their living room. Like I said, these guys didnt strike me as the type at all to do that, but there they are now, dead......so dont any of you bastards touch that stuff.........you know that some of you do "extra-caricular" activities........you know who you are.
We are all terminal.........love while you can. Peace out.Diary of a Madman Reviewed by Diary of a Madman on . Im not so much as sad, as I am shocked......I will be more sad as time goes on im sure, once the shock is over, but that could be any of us. Gone in the snap of a finger (well, I guess you will be needing 2 fingers to snap). But thank you.....again, this post isnt for me, its for all of you.

That saddens me..
It used to sound so cliche to me but it really does make sense. I take it with a whole new meaning now. Live everyday like its your last day.

The fact that I can die at any moment gives me relief for some reason. I'm just a weird person I guess, I don't nesecarily want to die, but I am incredibly indifferent if not slightly curious to my death. Comes in handy when you live in the ghetto of murder capital USA to keep your cool when you walk the streets at night.
Sorry to hear about your loss man...i wish I could think of something meaningful to say but I got nothing.
