should i switch from 12/12 light cycle to 8 hours of light to finish?
trichomes are 75% milky with very few amber

any advice fellow growers?

Some do that.Move the light time back. I've even done it to see no more for your efforts,than if you had left it at 12.Which I would do.Seems like you have about 1-2 weeks more.Keep an eye on the trich's with a magnifiying glass. They will swell and turn amber,some quicker than other strains. Hope this helped ya!

Just keep a check on the glands that are swelling and turning amber.Do you have a magnifying glass? If yes... Then they will be the mushroom looking thingy's, clingging to the leaves and flowers.:thumbsup:

yes i do thanks and they are checked every 12 hr thanks for the advice

I say pull them now, Trichs will continue to mature through the drying/curing process.
Mostly cloudy/some amber now = 50/50 later.
