Nitrogen difference in 12 hours?

I thought my plants were looking a little lime green the other day, so I took a closer look. I believe what I was mistaking for nute burn was actually a nitrogen deficiency. Everything I read is that one symptom is light colored leaves. Another is leave tips and edges yellowing and dying, which is also one symptom of nutrient overload. Another symptom is slow growth, which I definitely was beginning to wonder about lately.

Iâ??ve been using Grow Big, Liquid Karma, SubCulture and SuperThrive. Grow Big is 6-4-4. I went to a hydro shop and for N the guy recommended Gro Aqua by Supernatural, which is 17,7,18. I mixed half the usual Grow Big with half strength of the Gro Aqua, and fed it to them after flushing twice. I could swear that they look darker green today, after less than 12 hours. Does this sound about right for a DWC, or am I just wishful thinking and/or imagining things?

Certainly not beyond the pale-

I used to foliar feed w/ calcium nitrate- you could see a differance at one end of the room by the time you finished the other.

Admittedly, it was a big room.

Wasn't Fe chlorosis, was it? That'll green up in minutes, properly treated.

i must say....that certainly sounds to me like you have plenty of nitrogen going on there opie....Grow Big AND Superthrive? mine would fall over with that much. How big are your plants?

I don't think so, at least as far as I could tell from reading about and comparing pictures of plant problems. Not 100% sure though since I'm not really used to diagnosing plant problems.

i must say....that certainly sounds to me like you have plenty of nitrogen going on there opie....Grow Big AND Superthrive? mine would fall over with that much. How big are your plants?

Well the Grow Big was half strength and the ST was about 4 drops per gallon. On average the plants are a couple feet tall, but bushy and LSTd.
