food dehydrator = too hot! ideas?
If I could just figure a reliable way to lower the temp in the dehydrator, it would be the perffffect drying machine. Something like that should really be adjustable imo.
If you take the cover off there will be an element.Bypass the heating element, then you only use the fan.DO USE A METER,when messin' with electricity.Convection drying? Light has alot to do with curing right.I mean none at all.
Ga Grown!GaGrown Reviewed by GaGrown on . food dehydrator = too hot! ideas? so i thought i would buy a food dehydrator to dry my crop, but after scrutinizing the box and doing a lil research, the dehydrator gets far too hot to dry pot effectively. I was wondering if there are any electricians or people with experience modifying appliance who could help me figure out if there's a way to get the temp lower, so it would be a more viable option. I got a Ronco 5 tray food dehydrator, and as far as i can tell it gets around 100F in the drying process. I was thinking Rating: 5
