    Different tastes/smells

Does anyone know of any ways to influence the taste/smell of a grow? Ive been thinking about trying a bunch of different things, like sprinkling some tobacco or maybe cinnamon or something on a partially formed bud. It should stick, and then maybe it would get grown over? Just curious, couldnt find it in the threads.

I definitely would not smoke cinnamon. Those oils are quite harsh and could be VERY irritating to your lungs.
With the wealth of flavors that occur naturally in cannabis, you can find a strain that has what you are looking for, and then enhance it by fertilizing with a carb synthesizer and sugar supplement.
Hint: You like cinnamon? The classic BOG SourBubble, when grown outdoors in New England and harvested on September 15th, then properly cured, has a cinnamon aftertaste...

doubtful if that idea would work, anyway ... just like a splinter in your finger, the plant would probably 'push' the invader out of its system, and not grow around it ... you'll be much better off to just grow something nice like Stinky suggests

are there any currently known methods for changing the natural tastes and smells of plants? Id jsut buy a strain that sounded good, but im nervous about ordering (i know, i shouldnt be) and i wanted to see if i could positively influence those kinds of factors myself.

Yes, Sweet is a good one, and TopMax is another. They are slightly different- TopMax is a more finely-tuned supplement with fancier shit in it, lol- but both have components that will positively influence terpene expression. When using either, adding a dollop of unsulphured molasses to each gallon of fert solution will amplify the benefits.
