Just my opinion, but I will rate something in the way that it has a effect on me. There is alot to learn on these boards and sometimes there may be a thread or post that really gets you thinking... so just go with what you feel.

I was just wondering if the Modâ??s (or other posters), could offer any guidance on how and when to rate threads, and what criteria should be used when assessing them. For example, are we supposed to give a â??thumbs upâ?? to any and all posts that we think are entertaining and/or informative, and a â??thumbs downâ?? to anything that doesnâ??t personally interest us?
