    Has anyone tired this??

Ok I know that plants need 12/12 to flower. I had this thought which was what if a plant was brought up where its day was shorter from seedling. Say make the day 20hrs so you were to do 16/4 for veg and 10/10 for flower. I know that they don;t make a timer to do that. But it can be easily made.

I guess my question is does the lenghth of time really have alot to do with it. Or is just having the same dark and light period that makes them flower.

Just wondering if anyonehas tried this or even heard of anything like it. Its something that if no one has tried I would like to do an experiment on my next crop using 2 clones from the same plant and seeing if first it even flowers and if so is there a big difference in size and potency.

B/c if there wasn't a huge difference this would shave 10 days off an 8 week flower cycle.

IDK im pretty high!!! But i bet I got a couple people thinking!

i don't think it will work, unfortunately. cannabis is very sensitive to photoperiod changes and if you make the light cycle 10/10, the plant is going to react probably in a most undesireable way (hermie).

give it a try though and see if anything different happens.
