UK, Asylum, Islams etc..
of course as you know in the u s there have always been immigrants. its usually the 2nd or 3rd generation thats starts to assimulate into "society" i grew up in nyc. in my neighborhood (staten is)there were italians, irish, jews. puorto-ricans ,old yanks and blacks. being kids we all usually got along. of course the were a few incidents but it was usually over something else not race or religion.new york has always been the immigrant capitol so i guess i got used to it. when i lived in Canada, the lebonese were immigrating, no one liked that until we met them and stared hanging out they turned in to pretty nice people after we got to know them.AND they had some real good red leb hash too havent anything that good(hash) since. we all have to adapt . life is about adapting oneself ,im starting to find out to a certain extent i dont think the U>K> will ever lose its idendity, it will just evolve, like everything does. Remember when the Saxons took over, then the French then the Vikings? Uk is still UK and right now I think Id rather be there than here. Its getting a little scary here, right now. i cant go back to Canada:its too cold and im too old....

To whom ever is interested or concerned -- In my opinion asylum seekers/Pakistani's/Indians are just a fraction of the problems that concern the UK today. I live in a town of approximately 100,000 residents, of which 53% are of ethnics making the native British residents the minority in this particular town. This isn't just happening to one isolated town, this problem is growing in most of the UK. It has to be said that most of the non-ethnics are of Islam faith, which in my opinion is Rating: 5[QUOTE] Everything\'s impossible until it ain\'t-Ben Hawkins
