Why was my "rate the persons avatar above you" thread closed?

just curious because it was still a popular thread that had been around nearly 2 years with a lot of people regularly posting in, if something happened couldnt you just delete the posts? what happened?

It's part of the changing face of cann.com CC, the owner of the site wants to promote a positive image of us to the world to help in the campaign towards the legalisation of medicinal cannabis. But it seems to be back now, for how long don't ask me. I'm not personally too bothered about those type of threads I rarely post in them, I don't see the harm in them either. That is why I believe it got taken down, same reason as many threads have been disappearing recently.

So were not even allowed to make threads like that?
Positive image of us to the world? I really dont see how that creates any kind of negative image at all, jesus christ.

While Sundance is trying to promote the acceptance of medical marijuana, I believe there are some specifics reasons as to why the thread was closed. I'm going to close this thread and if the person who closed the avatar thread would like to answer it they can instead of having everyone else who didn't close the thread speculate as to why it was closed.

I am gonna speculate here and tell the real reason why that thread was closed....ummmmm...I am thinking real hard here...oh man, this hurts..I cannot see a viable reason...maybe it had something to do with it being to long, bandwith, memory..who knows..just post in the new one I guess.
