San Marcos Tx here - howdy folks!

Hey guys and gals...

I just moved to lovely San Marcos, TX about three weeks ago. I would love to meet some fellow smokers in the area (musicians would be a bonus as I'm a guitar/bass/banjo player).

I've lived out in the national forest north of montgomery texas for the last two and a half years so my social skills aren't a strong point right now.

I'm working on getting my home studio set up and have spent quite a bit of my life in the recording and live sound world.

Holler at me if you want to hang out.

I'm also a Rockets fan...

and I like beer and stomping on sand castles while taking moonlit walks on the beach...

and I'm fairly certain that I'm never going to find a bag of weed...

I lived in Austin before moving out to the woods. It's nice to be back.

i play every now and then...........as of now i have now i dont have my drums set up because i dont have enough space where im living.

I'm not a drummer but I want to get an electronic set for composition. I've already BFD so triggering those samples seems to the be the easiest way to keep from pissing off any neighbors.

hahaha yea i know what you mean...........ive had a neighbor or too "complain" to the police during the day. nothing like opening the door with a beer in hand and blood shot eyes and finding a cop to ask you to turn it down.

Welcome! I live in Wimberley/Kyle which is pretty close to Austin and San Marcos. You shouldn't worry, theres plenty of weed going around in San Marcos. Especially with SWT being right there. San Marcos is a pretty good town to be a stoner in. They've got Planet K, Sundance Records, and High Times if your looking for a piece or other essentials :smokin:
