    traditional dwc or recirculating?

been a while since i last grew, and i notice a lot of people are going with recirculating dwc instead of the traditional method, which i am currently using. which is actually better and what are the benefits of recirculating dwc?

    traditional dwc or recirculating?

I find the biggest benefit of recirc. sys . = ph , ppm always being the same in all buckets , and if set up right only 1 container of nutes to monitor .

I agree with Crispi but I've noticed SEVERAL benefits since I went over to recirculating. I'd have to say so far that the biggest benefit to my plants seems to be that they are GROWING FASTER than they were. I cant tell you if that's because of constantly fresh nutes, increased air to the roots during the recirculating time (its done six times a day) or WHAT exactly is making the difference but I can certainly promise you there is one.......an EXTREMELY positive difference imo.

PS....X-C is right about the ph and ppm being more stable as well. That was the original reason I went to recirculating my system......the plants growing insanely was actually a side effect.

One big advantage is that circulating systems generally bring more oxygen to the roots, which is of course the key to big, fast growing plants.

And I too notice quite a difference between the two.
