+ I don't have anything "official" on my schedule today, so I can do pretty much as I please.
- I still have two Christmas gifts to shop for, and I expect the traffic will be awful. I'd about rather be put to sleep than go out into the retail world today.
+ My husband is interested in seeing the same movie I want to see this weekend, "Atonement."
- I have a cold or virus that has infected my vocal cords. I haven't got a voice.
+ I do, however, feel physically better than I have for the last two days. So the cold/virus could be worse and has been.
- My dog left a really big turd on the hallway floor. I picked it up thinking I'd destroy the evidence before my husband walked down the hall and saw it. Then when I went downstairs, there he was, so he'd already been down that hallway.
- On the kitchen table, Dave had the phone book open to the page that said "Animal Shelters" and was pretending to be making notes about dog-giveaway options.
+ I think I might be getting some really pretty earrings from him for Christmas (if I don't have to hock them to bail my dog outta some shelter).
+ I'm finished with my Christmas baking and candy-making and have delivered most of those gifts.
+ My husband made my breakfast this morning instead of the other way around.

Glad you enjoyed that! I am in love with my dog, but she is hard-headed when it comes to potty training. This leaves her open to constant criticism from the men in my family. Hope your family situation eases and that your husband has a safe stay in Kuwait. I have a really close friend in Afghanistan and a cousin in Iraq. Have a nice holiday, Slavetopot!
