yeah, because while all of those fans are enjoying that ice cold beer in front of their children, a reference to marijuana in a song would be socially unacceptable..

Tom Petty's quite very cool though, I like a lot of his music

...u mean ppl actully watch the super bowl to see the football game? i just watch it for the halftime show and the comercials, when the game comes on i flip the channle to somthing actully good

The halftime performances of the Super Bowl have been TERRIBLE in recent years. Tom Petty is a hell of a lot better than what was done in the past. Here is a crazy idea, have a halftime performer that football fans actually want to see!
