Clones are vegging but aren't rooting?

Weird problem here, I have a couple clones but they aren't rooting. They have been clearly vegging the past week, but when I checked for roots I found none. Does rooting really take that long sometimes?

Keep your light level around 2500 FC. I've never experienced veg growth from unrooted clones.

If they have only been 1 week since cutting you most likely won't find roots yet. Mine all root in 7 to 10 days, but I never check them. If rooted they will start to take off after 4 or 5 days of rooting. If not, they'll just die.
