Clones are vegging but aren't rooting?
Weird problem here, I have a couple clones but they aren't rooting. They have been clearly vegging the past week, but when I checked for roots I found none. Does rooting really take that long sometimes?

The first time mine took 9 days. Its likely that they have roots but you just can't see them. Give them a few more days and I'm sure the roots will start poking through. When you say they are "clearly vegging" you mean they are growing upwards?

Short answer: it can take that long. Long answer: depends on a lot of things.
Did you feed your mother plant a bloom fertilizer for a week or so before you took the cuttings? How close are your cuttings to a light? If too close, they will attempt to grow first without rooting.

Yeah, I had been feeding my mother plant with some bloom fert for a while before I took the cutting. The growth is going outward, not up. I know there are no roots because I dug into the soil a little with my finger and checked the end of the cutting.. nothing. I guess I should just keep up the waiting game. Thank you both.

I'm old fashioned, I root my clones in pure water. No doubt if they are rooting or not- you can see the roots. I have rooted in soil but, water works better for me. Just let your clones sit and do what they need to do. Are your temperature a bit high or low? Both can slow rooting. - Granny

Keep your light level around 2500 FC. I've never experienced veg growth from unrooted clones.
