HELLO PEOPLE I´M WAITING FOR THE SEEDS TO ARRIVE BUT I DON´T KNOW THW FIRST THING ABOUT GROWING . I´M GOING FOR THE SIMPLER METHOD ( I THINK ) INDOOR,WITH DIRT,A COUPLE OF SIMPLE ADITIVES AND A NOT TWO HIGH LAMP, IN MY OWN ROOM. I HAVE A 2 m2 SPACE AND THE ROOM AS A WINDOW WITH A WINDOW FACING WEST. I DON´T WANT NOTHING LIKE HIDROPONICS,JUST KEEPING IT SIMPLE.
I ORDERED SKUNK#1. IT´S ALMOUST SPRINGTIME AND THE TEMPERATURES HERE WILL RISE TO AN AVERAGE OF 25 M�X AND 10 MIN. AND RISING SLOWLY TI´LL SUMMER. THE WEATHER IS DRY .
PLEASE,IF YOU WANT TO HELP A FELLOW SMOKER AND CANNABIS ATIVIST,PLEASE GIVE ME THE ABC OF GROWIG IN THE TERMS I´VE SAID:LITLLE LAMP,2 m2 SPACE,SIMPLE CULTURE (JUST BUCKETS WITH GOOD DIRT AND A COUPLE OF ESSENCIAL ADITIVES

If I were going to decide to grow, i'd read about it for about 8 hours a day for a few weeks. then take some seeds from a bag of killer stuff i got, and try growing them before spending money on seeds. Everyone makes mistakes in the first grow , hell i've made them after years , LOL. Try dirt under floros for an inexpensive go at it, if you're sucessful, you can upgrade the lights to hps and then use the bought seeds.

Hey people , wassup ?
Sorry to take a bit to answer, i´ve been ocupied. Yeh,when i started to read about growing in the net,i must confess i´ve been taken by a state of "panic" about growing...i new it was a bit hard, it needed care and love,like other plants...like other plants not so far!..it´s worse than rising a child...LOL!..but then again,that´s what makes it so interesting and rewarding,besides the smoking part,ehey!
Thanks a lot people,i´ve ordered a book yes,got to find out first if its what i need.It´s "indoor growing" book something,but i´m afraid it´s going to be just about special tecniques like hydroponics and organics,i hope it references to "basic normal" growing indoor without much special "effects". I have to leave that for later when i domine the "knowing" and have other sapace "quality".
The laws in Portugal are much the same of east countries,we have the repression but lately the law about "consuming" changed from jail to being "ticked" for smoke.We don´t have a growing culture here, in spite of being next to Spane wich has a great growing culture and Morrocos wich is a haxe producer,so i don´t know about growing laws,but i suspect it isn´t much diferent from the U.K.,where they "forget" about "owning" seeds in the law "book".So you can´t plant but shorly can OWN the seeds.eheh.-i don´t see portuguese law makers "remembering" about that detail.Anyways i don´t aspect anybody i don´t trust fully to enter my room,and there´s no problem with my mother or rest of my family,so...IT´S JUST ME AND THEM PLANTS,BABY, AND IT´S GOING TO WORK,EVEN IF I HAVE TO DRAIN MY OWN BLOOD TO FEED THEM !!!...sorry about that...just...caried away...with a litlle help from my friend...the axe.Can´t wait for my grass!Have to think positive!

A few basic questions :
1-with a window with a few houres of direct sun,do i need such big lamps as 400w,OR AIR SUPLY from the outside,or just open the window?
2-what does it means "wash the substrat"(the dirt)-how to do it?
3-30% celsius day and 20%celsius night- is it good?
4-give two basic essencial adictive produts i need and can i by them in any plant growing shop or are they only referred marihuana produts to work ?
5-what do i do about dry weather?- can i "spring" them with plain water?
5-How shood the plants stay?-toghether , apart...-females,males,what?-What does one do with the males?- And the females?-Can they be closed to each other?-(ps-i´ve seen pictures about recognizing sexes,but nothing seems to explain what exactely do we do with them,both)
6-What do we harvest all toghether?- Do we smoke all the leaves or just the "midle" part(sorry,i don´t know the name of it-in spanish it´s "cogollos") ?

-Nothing ocurres to me right now,but thousands of questions pass thru my mind all the time. Here's some answers to your questions.. hopefully it helps!

1. lighting is one of the most important things when growing. to grow the plant well, it needs an excess (more than) 15 hours daily. Most people put thier plants on 18/6 to start (18on/6of). To flower, you reduce the time that the plant is in the light. 12/12 . this tells the gene's in the plant that the days are getting shorter.. and it's time to bud and produce seeds.. but without a male around. there will be no pollen to make seeds.. we call this sensimilla.
Direct sunlight from a window a few hours a day.. will not be enough to grow your plant in the amount of time i'm sure you want to grow it in. try getting some fluorescent lighting. you don't need much, maybe 200w plus the direct light from the window.
- ventilation is important also, without it you can have moisture problems and having a fan on the plant makes the stems and stalks super strong.

2. (god this is gonna take a while)

2b."wash the substrat" . By this i think you mean flushing the soil. Basically, just water the pot until you see the water seep out of the bottom, then stop.
This flushes out all the old water out of the soil, and provides fresh nutrients to the plant.

3. 30c - 20c = 86f - 68f for a day/night temperature, that's fine.

4. you are going to need some bloom fertalizer, i suggest 5-15-5 or 10-15-10. you need to add this when the plant begins to flower. you can find this at a hardware store.. or any kind of home gardening center. really you don't need much else if you're growig with dirt.. growing hydro though, requires alot more nutrients.

5. Dry spells are bound to happen, if need be you can water it with plain "tap" water... let it sit out for a day to let any chemicals (probably chlorine) evaporate.

6. depeding if you have them in the ground or in pots, they can be really close together without problems... Males, you do not want unless you plan on making seeds for future planting.

7. when harvesting you can do one of many things... you can harvest the entire plant... or you can harvest just the colas and grow the plant again.. this is called double harvesting (i plan on doing this)

I really really really suggest picking up a book, as many answers as you'll get here. nothing compares to reading it yourself..

Chop the male's balls off, no joke... you let males plants grow, you are royally screwed... you can harvest the leaves for haschisch and the bud.. whats on the branches.. im not sure how to say it in spanish, but in french its " cocottes" so maybe its similar... they are called Buds in english though, but i think cogollos or wtv is similar to what i mean... yeah gl with your growing, im starting growing in 2 weeks , im 120$ short now tho... gotta get some of that green doh before i can make green
