How are the holidays going for you?

Mines going aight, My GF is kinda stressing me out talking about presents and stuff. I'm trying to do my best. My part time effort can only go so far.

I know I'm not alone, I never understood it as a child but I can understand how the holidays can bring stress and whatnot.

I did buy a sack today, Havent smoked in a long time. I think i've been drinking to much...kinda making me have a short fuse on things. I sure cut out the booze and start workingout more.

Other than that..I'm fine. Still one of my fav seasons.

Well, since I've overdrafted from my bank account five times in seven months, and, I still have $6 in there, and, still life presents itself to me as a no-win, painful ride to another world, I'd have to say that it's going okay.

I'm abit stressed - it's come up alot faster than ever before, but otherwise its good.

I agree with Lip. It seems like this holiday has crept up more quickly than most, and now it's upon us. I'm a bit overwhelmed. This has been an overwhelmingly hard week in school, however, and now that's over so I get some time to relax. Now I can start thinking about the holiday.

Christmas didnt come fast.... the whole year flew by OMG. blink and its over.

I have Kids that are 6 and 7. So inocent they still believe in Santa. super cute...

I have learned....and am teaching my kids the real meaning of Christmas, and they love it.

Is is such a special time of year for us.....


If you guys are Lucky ill post my Pecan Pie recipe again.

I miss having a little kid and seeing Christmas through his eyes. That's a wonderful time. I think the age of 8 or so was about when the disbelief in Santa began here at our house. That's when the bigger kids at school started spreading the news that Santa wasn't real, as I recall.

This will be the last year we figure. once the older girl knows the jig is up about Santa, the young one will too.. Thats OK we have today....( < isnt that a song LOL)

I am planned to tell my kids....

Santa is in Every one of us.... Being Santa is about thinking about a person and how much you love and or care for them enough to pick out the perfect gift.

Santa is in all of us.

Once The jig is Up on Santa.... Ill have the easter Bunny Tooth Fairy... and so on. IM holding on for now though

Lazysmoking....Buy your girl something nice, ( i didnt say exspensive) Then help her (or do it your self) clean, and make sure you are holding up your end of the house stuff. She will be stoked, girls love Christmas with a clean house, and a few decorations, and a nice present from her BF.... she will be stoked MY2 Merry Christmas

That's how we played the Santa thing, too, at our house! "Sure Santa is real. He's the spirit of Christmas and giving. There's nothing unreal about that." That was a hard concept for him to grasp. He really needed to be able to imagine a red-suited guy who came down the chimney and brought toys to good little boys. I know you're enjoying this time with your little ones, Bong. My younger sister had a sweet little baby boy this year, and so we'll have a young one in the family to go through the fun with at the holidays again. By the time he gets big and jaded, maybe I'll be close to having some grandkids!
