    I have a little question...

I just started smoking not too long ago and while i was at the house i decided to get a little crafty. I made what i believe is called a steamroller except instead of an empty roll of toilet paper, i used a 1 ft long pvc pipe and a spare trumpet mouthpiece as the bowl. Its pretty airtight so im thinking about testing it soon. My question is the pvc pipe an okay choice for it (is it harmful in anyway?). My mouthpiece should be fine since its anti-rust. Thanks.

As long as the mouthpiece/bowl never becomes so hot that you can't touch it for a full 10 seconds, I can't see the PVC causing any harm. I still advise against it because even moderate heat breaks down plastics over time, and PVC is a particularly toxic plastic. a piece of aluminum piping (or whatever, but not copper) would be superior.

Also, believe it or not, if something's advertised as anti-rust, it's either made of a metal that never rusts anyway, or it's treated with something to inhibit rust. if the latter is the case you do NOT want to be holding a flame to it.

It should be fine, just don't apply flame directly to it.
    Aluminum isn't a safe alternative.
