So crazy it just might work. I've always wanted to say that.

i was reading some info on the coliseum, and it said that the most efficiant sys. would be a 360 degree sys.

but i can see room for improvement - what if you put lights on the OUTSIDE of the globe as well? hmmmm....

Lights on the outside would defiantly increase yield, but that's a whole different can of worms, and it would defeat the idea of the globe shape being the perfect shape for the intensity of one HID light. OK, maybe one HID per globe, and some fluoro strip lighting down either side of each row of 4, out of heads reach but close enough to the plants to do some good. Yes, I'm liking that.
