The hermi pollen must be used on a separate female, self pollination will just make the genetics more likely to turn herm. I guess that makes sense. :rasta:



ANYWAYS on a lighter note. My plants are 3 weeks into flowering and looking great. Ill post some pictures later :jointsmile:

Looks like they're coming along real nice. Mine have been flowering the same amount of time I think. Both are making me drool now. Can't wait to see what they look like in another 3 weeks.

And can anyone tell me why the top of the buds turn semi purple? I had a lot of things going in my grow: A 4 day heat wave (prolly around 100 or so in there), they were pollinated (purposely), dumped this one over multiple times, but the other one is a little worse than this one with the discolored tops. Not sure if its safe to smoke so yeah, any ideas? I've looked at some mold pics and rot pics and I'm unsure if its rot or not or if it was the Heat wave I put it through during flower.

The discoloration started on the ENDS of the leaves and worked its way back. So it was perplexing to me.

the cfl way i have some plants started they are 24 days old right now.
i have a total of 7 plants
3 i think r showing female
i have sum pics and a grow log of my own so please check it out
box is 4' tall
1'5" 2'
8 cfl daylight bulbs
1 fan blowing in
stays around 83deg when light on
just let me no what you think since youre farther along than i am

Yeah, I definitely am surprised since this is the first time I have done any kind of CFL indoor grow. But yours are looking way healthy! What strain do are growing by the way?
