thanks a bunch! i think the chlorine just stuck around cause my downstairs of the house is kinda cold and i have the water in a deep bucket in the dark without any kind of movement till a few hours ago. if i still smell it, imma hit it up with some peroxide. thanks for answering my questions. as you prolly can tell this is my first grow and since reading everyones threads my plants look pretty healthy and dark dark green all over(except when i had too much heat when i didnt have a thermometer the first 2 days, only 2 leaves turned light green but now they thrivin!). i owe you guys big for supplying me with your advanced knowledge! i try to follow everything you say to a T and try to feed my brain with everything you guys tell me! :thumbsup:
cigarettes42 Reviewed by cigarettes42 on . airstone and chlorine question hey i just gotta quick question. how long does it take chlorine to evaporate out of water. every where i read is its 24 hours. yesterday i put out a 5gal bucket of water to evap the chlorine and today i went and got an airstone and pump and added it in my bucket. well now its been about 24 hours and had the pump running and i can smell heavy chlorine. oh and also on my airstone package it said to soak the stone in water for 1hr before use and i skipped that and just rinsed em off. would Rating: 5
