Will Growing this way work?

I saw a couple links that showed me people growing tomatoes upside-down( Topsy Turvy Upside Down Tomato, Flower and Vegetable Planter )
Can this work for cannabis growing indoors if the light was on the floor?

Not sure I would want to risk water dripping on the lights, or, the heat that rises from the light. Might just fry everything.

Could use a Drip method, combined with the lights being in a cooltube- however i cant think of any reason to grow indoors, this would make more sense in the outdoor growing forum

If you were running a strain that was prone to growing prostrate, you could probably run one of those baskets hanging, but you still want the light ABOVE the plant and then additional side light, but... why would you want to?
Save the hanging baskets for indoor strawberries, which suit them spectacularly.

I bet it would be hard for anyone to figure out it was the herb hanging upside down. You could probably get away with a few of these in a secluded yard. Wouldn't have to worry about getting spotted from above. especially if you follow the advice of some guerrilla growers and snip the tips of each leave(to make the final plant look deformed). I could probably get away with one of those right in my window.

lol, ok, I might try 1 outdoor when its april...or may, might keep people outta my back yard, I ave a clothesline than runs fom where my greenhouse is to my fence, just hang 1 from that

I guess it might be good with some plants that you otherwise have to supply support to, and only outdoors, or else wouldn't you have to put the light under the plant?

I'm just not really getting it, except for eliminating the need for tomato stakes.

the plant would still grow up and around the bucket or bag even with the light underneith. its what a plant does and the roots will grow down. tomatoes and strawberries would hang down(but not grow down) because they are heavier and the stems wouldnt support them.
